The Predator-Prey assessment exists as a proof-of-concept project. It was originally designed for use in an international setting with population 2 (age 13) / grade 8 students. Due to its initial international audience, the assessment was initially designed to showcase common use of common tools. Due to economic considerations, the international community decided to put this type of assessment on hold. At that time, the Predator-Prey task was re-tooled to include a module that incorporates use of the NetLogo modeling program.
